Manhattan Short Film Festival 2017 Spotlight Image

Be part of the Manhattan Short Film Festival locally at the BCC Attleboro campus on Friday, October 6, and Saturday, October 7, 2017. Join the BCC community for refreshments from 5:30 - 6 p.m., followed by film screenings from 6 - 8 p.m.

The Manhattan Short Film Festival brings over 100,000 people across six continents together to view and vote on the ten finalists’ short films from ten separate countries who participated in the film festival. The Manhattan Short Film Festival is an instantaneous celebration that occurs simultaneously across the globe, bringing great films to great venues and allowing the audiences to select their favorites.

BCC Fall Celebration: An evening of Bountiful Culinary Delights & Conversation

On Friday, October 13, 2017, the BCC Foundation will hold its annual Gala event from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at Bristol Community College in the Commonwealth College Center, 777 Elsbree Street, Fall River, MA.

Reception with imaginative and lavish hors d’oeuvres by Chef John Caressimo. Entertainment by the Jo-Lee Jazz Band.

Tickets are $50.00 per person, and proceeds from this event will allow the Bristol Community College Foundation to help our students achieve their dreams. Please contact the BCC Foundation at 774.357.2007 to purchase tickets.

Guided Kayak Excursion for Two on the Assonet River – Donated by: Kevin J. Garganta and Kathy Torpey Garganta ‘73
Join your hosts for a serene 1 1/2 hour paddling experience on the scenic Assonet River. Kayaks, paddles, life vests, snacks/refreshments, and basic instruction (if needed) are provided. All levels and ages of kayakers are welcome. Even if you've never kayaked before, you will enjoy gliding along the quiet waters of the Assonet River.
Winner will be contacted to arrange a mutually-convenient excursion time (weekdays or weekends) from May – October, 2018.

On February 22, 2018 from 3-5 p.m. we will be honoring and thanking our donors in the Commonwealth College Center. The event will be a casual party celebrating and thanking our donors.

Bristol Paragon Awards
